🐾Bill🐾

Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Bill! Bill is quite a hoot, and he always makes us laugh! He's a Treeing walker hound mix and he has such a fun personality. We don't get to see this guy too often, but when we do, we have lots of fun stories to share with his family while they are away, haha! He's such a joy to take care of. When Bill's family goes out of town, they like to schedule a midday 20 Minute Home Visit and also some Regular overnights. Bill has a sister, named Phoenix, who is a Norwegian Elkhound/German shepherd mix and a chinchilla brother, named Fierro. They all get along well, and we enjoy spending time with all of them. Laura is their main caretaker and she has plenty of funny stories about Bill! He has been known to poop directly on a tennis ball in the backyard and as his pet parents put it, "That is the most Bill thing Bill could do!" He always will bark at his bowl of food before he eventually eats it, which we think is so entertaining to witness! Bill will bark when you come in, but mainly because he wants some pets, although his sister will compete for some pets as well!

When we first get there, we let the pups outside in the backyard. Bill will inspect his lawn in an orderly fashion and then come back onto the porch to sit next to us. After that, we head back inside and prepare their dinners. Bill isn't always interested in eating, but he will eventually eat in his own time. For most of the night, we will hang out in the living room with Bill and Phoenix. They enjoy watching the neighbors through their living room windows and if he's feeling extra generous, Bill will appear on the couch, allowing us to pet him. He will usually have his butt facing us while giving some side eye. Honestly, he really is such a hoot, haha! At the end of the night, Bill will come up and snuggle with us on the bed and we very much enjoy that. He is such a funky and delightful gentleman, and we can't wait to see him again!
