Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Dachs! Pronounced “Docs,” this handsome German Shepard is a gentle giant and we fell in love with him the moment we met him! He has the sweetest personality and we adore him! Continue scrolling to learn more about him!

We get the pleasure of seeing Dachs for weekly walks and extra visits when his pet parents go on vacations and trips. They usually schedule 20 Minute Dog Walks. for his weekly walks and Hourly Visits for when they go on trips. His main caretakers are Jen, Laura and Lucia and they all adore him! Sometimes German Shepherds can look scary, but he is the furthest thing from scary. He is just about the sweetest lovey guy out there! He's a great walker and enjoys his jaunts around the neighborhood. He has a shock collar, but it is rarely used because he's such a good boy. After the walks, he patiently waits by the fridge for a nice chilled ice cube as a treat

He is much bigger than the pictures show and he is the best size for squeezable hugs! He gets lots of them from us, especially during the extra hourly visits, while his parents are away. During those visits, he gets several short walks, his dinner and lots of playtime! He gets his walk first and then we prepare his dinner, which he quietly waits and sits for. After he gobbles his food down, we wait a few minutes and then take him out again. Once we come back inside, he goes back and forth between tug-of-war, naps and pets. We gladly do anything he likes and he's such a chill buddy to hang out with! Before we leave, he goes out one last time and then he happily goes back in his crate. He's truly the best and we're blessed to know him!
