Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Enzo! This Miniature Australian Shepherd really rounds up lots of fun! He is a handsome boy wearing black with brown and white accents and is as fit as a fiddle between his walks and playtime. Enzo loves going on adventures with us in quiet neighborhood streets - and he never wants the fun to end! Keep the fun going by reading more about Enzo below.

At our free Meet and Greet visit with Enzo and his family, his owners divulged that he was a "pandemic puppy" as he was adopted during the height of the Covid pandemic and thus did not have a lot of socialization until restrictions lifted. It helped create an environment for Enzo to become quite anxious when his people or visitors are leaving. We do our best to help him feel comfortable, practicing a lot of patience and usually throwing a small handful of extra treats when it's time to make a quick goodbye.

At Captain Flosse Dog's pet service, we help out Enzo (and his entourage of kitties) by providing several services requested including Overnight care and 30 Minute Walks. Jessie, Lucia, and Meg have had the pleasure of seeing Enzo and the kitty crew the most often!

While Enzo is walking, he enjoys loads of sniffs, observing all the sights and sounds, and trying to catch those fast cars going by. He often finishes his walk with a celebratory scritch and the "army crawl" on his belly. He cracks us up!! Inside, the fun continues with many food- and drink-based toys like donuts, pizza, and cans of seltzer. Tug and fetch are his greatest skills. He also plays a little with the kitties, too, and loves to continue observing the outside world from lots of great windows. If there is ample time, he calms down for a cuddle on the couch. Doesn't that sound nice right now?
