🐾Benjen🐾

It's time to celebrate one of our tiniest friends, Benjen! He may be tiny but he is certainly mighty and the ruler of his little domain. Benjen is a grey hamster who is the king of comfy. He knows just how to make his bedding just as perfect and snuggly as possible to keep him nice and toasty during a snooze. We had such a great time visiting him while his family was away this summer. He has a great personality for such a small dude!

We love all the cute things that this little hammy gets up to. Staff member Emily says he is truly the sweetest and most laid back guy. His care involves giving him fresh food and water (but not too much food since his tends to be a bit extra snacky) and spot cleaning his bedding. That just means checking for dirty spots and changing them out for fresh, clean bedding. While his cage is being taken care of, Benjen enjoys going for an adventure around the house in his hampster ball. What fun to see him roll around and take in the scenery!

Benjen is certainly a ton of fun to visit and we appreciate the opportunity to keep him safe and happy. Although we love all the cats and dogs we get to meet it's fun to mix it up a little and get a little variety like Benjen. We can't wait to visit him again soon!
