🐾Jack🐾

Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Jack! Jack is a Jack Russell Terrier who LIVES for playtime! He will chase a ball or pull on a rope toy all day and all shoelaces are considered chew toys as well. We enjoy coming to spend time with Jack when his family is out for an evening. He is full of spunk and energy with lots of love to give. There's always a game afoot if Jack has anything to say about it.

During our 30 minute home visits with Jack, we start by taking him out to do his business. Sometimes he wants to explore all the special spots in his yard, and sometimes it's more important to get back inside to play. Once inside, unleash the toys! There are many options to choose from including tennis balls, rope toys, stuffed squeaky toys even pant legs and hair braids are considered fair game. Staff members Emily and Christa know just what to do to get some energy out! They'll throw a ball and get Jack running and switch up the toys to keep him interested.

Once some of Jack's playful spirit has been let out, he's a fan of getting some snuggles, too. He's a perfect little size for hugs! Of course we can't ever forget giving him some snacks, too, before the visit ends. We are always excited when our perky-eared guy schedules a visit and we can't wait for many more evenings of playtime!
