🐾Little Cat (L.C.)🐾
Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, L.C.! L.C. stands for Little Cat (but nowadays we'd say he's sized like any house cat) and he wears black with white tuxedo accents on his face, paws, belly and tip of the tail. He's also rocking a black goatee on his chin. L.C.'s dressed for the party but also brings it with his charm and playfulness! He works perfectly as the life of the party with his kitty siblings, too. Come see how we're having so much fun with LC!
The crew is excited to visit L.C.'s house while his humans are traveling; he has some other kitty siblings we've also come to love over the years, including his brother Friskies (past POTW) and sister Patchy, plus those no longer with us but still remembered.
Their owners have us provide the kitty care with a 30 Minute Home Visit. We stop twice a day for the basics as well as to administer medication. Our crew that have had the joy of becoming the most familiar with L.C. are Lucia, Jessie, and Laura.
A normal routine at L.C.'s house includes feeding wet and dry foods, giving treats, washing up, refreshing water containers, scooping the litter and cleaning any accidents, and grabbing the mail, too.
L.C. and his brother Friskies usually greet us at the door, whereas sister Patchy likes to chill under the bed. The boys are most excited for their meal! L.C. sits calmly and patiently waiting while the crew doles out everyone's portion. We give L.C. his insulin as he eats, and he's a very good boy about receiving his medicine! When we give him a little attention and pets, everyone can hear his purry motor running.
After completing tasks like the litter and washing dishes from meals, we head to the living room. This boy and his tux definitely bring the fun. Out of all the cats, he seems the most playful. He's smart, curious, and it shows -- sometimes he opens cabinet doors! L.C. does occasionally dive after a toy, but mostly he relaxes in the living room. He has been known to perch on the bathroom sink and wail and meow! Little Cat could also mean Loaf Cat with how he bundles up for a catnap! He seeks any good spot: a rug by the fireplace, an empty box, the back of the couch. Classic!
