Put your paws together for our Pet of the Week, Ruby! Our friend Ruby is a sweet German Shepherd / Lab mix and she’ll be two-years-old this coming December. Ruby is an excellent older sister to our past Pet of the Week alum, Rosie. Together, they make a pawsome pair!

Pet care specialist Suzi visits Ruby and Rosie a few times a week for a much needed potty break while their parents are at work. A 30-minute visit usually does the trick and includes going out in the yard, playtime in the house, and sometimes a walk. Ruby was a little shy when we first started visiting, but has warmed up and is just as playful and silly as her sister Rosie. She loves playing tug of war, wrestling on the couch, and always says yes to a few treats!

Gentle Ruby is certainly the gem her name would suggest! She is a special doggie and each visit with her (and her sis Rosie) is such a joy. Love ya, Ruby!
