🐾Toby🐾

Put your paws together for our Pet of the Week, Toby! This special guy is a lab mix who we imagine would be great at running FBI operations to make sure everyone is safe, trustable and given the "all clear". It can sometimes take awhile to see if we make it into Toby's circle of friends, but boy is it rewarding when we get accepted! His serious manners will melt away once he feels comfy and then playtime and snuggles can begin.

We get the chance to visit Toby when his mom works late and he needs some company until she gets home. Pet Care Specialists Emily & Christa come for a 1 Hour Home Visit since Toby usually needs a little time to warm up. Upon arrival, he can be a bit standoffish and must perform his safety inspection. After some time though he slowly but surely feels safter and allows for some sniffs and treats. It's so rewarding to see him come out of his shell! Some of Toby's favorite things to do during his vistis are chew on his antler, explore his backyard and watch a nature show on TV while snuggling on the couch. One of his favorite shows of late is "Wild Babies" on Netflix.

When Toby is feeling especially frisky he can be found removing all the blankets from the living room basket or running back and forth around the couch. Sometimes our furry friends can take a little longer to accept us and that's totally fine with us. We believe Toby has good instincts and should be allowed to welcome new friends in on his own terms. We love getting to see the special part of him that he saves for those he trusts. There is no better feeling than that!
