Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Tucker! This beautiful boy (just look at those eyes!) is such a sweet gentleman, and we always look forward to spending time with him! He is a Shepard/Pitbull mix, and he is as soft as can be. Every time he hears us come in the door; he races down the stairs to excitedly greet us! How cute is that? Tucker's pet parents schedule weekly 30 minute dog walks while they are away working at their jobs, so we love that we get to see him on a regular basis. Lucia, Brittany and Suzi are Tucker's main walkers and he has a lot of fun with each one of them. He is a fantastic walker and so well trained! He never pulls on the leash, and he stays very calm when he sees most other dogs on our walks with him. We usually walk him in a big circle around his neighborhood and he enjoys exploring and sniffing in all of the yards we pass. He has a doggo girlfriend that we sometimes pass along the way. She is a big and gorgeous white shepherd, and she is the only dog he can't contain his excitement around! Once they see each other, it's game over! There is no way to stop them from running to each other! ;) We let them play together for a few minutes and then we are able to head in our separate directions. It's the sweetest thing to watch!
One of Tucker's favorite things he gets to do on walks is to say hi to any mail carriers we come across! Every time we see one coming in our direction, he plants his feet on the ground and happily waits for them to come over to him. All the mail carriers get big smiles on their faces and walk over to us to give him some well-deserved pets. If he's lucky, they will have a tasty milk bone in their pockets that they can give him. Yum! Tucker has so much kindness and love in his heart and it's an honor that we get to be recipients of that. We try to repay that love by giving Tucker the best care we can offer him at every visit. We'll end with this adorable picture of him mid-yawn. The cuteness is overwhelming!
