🐾Benji🐾

Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Benji! This brown striped kitty is a shy boy at first, but after he gets to know you, he's the sweetest guy around! He's always up for lots of pets and he's very good at giving his brothers baths, with his very pink tongue. Continue scrolling to learn more about him!

We get the honor of seeing Benji when his pet parents go on trips or vacations. They usually schedule 45 Minute Home Visits and that is the perfect amount of time to take care of his and his three other kitty brother’s needs. His main caretakers are Brittany, Lucia, Suzi, Emily and Christa and they all love Benji to bits! He's usually one of the first to greet us when we come in and he likes to get some hello sniffs in, before his brother Harvey pushes him out of the way, haha! After we say hello to him, we prepare his meal. He and his brothers all get different meals, and his owner makes it easy by pre-making all the meals before she leaves. We just have to add Benji's meds to his food and then we're good to go. Sometimes he needs a little encouragement to finish his meal and petting usually helps him to eat everything. It's so cute!

After he eats his food, it's chill time with the kitty gang. Benji enjoys the company of humans and will stick around for some love and attention. After a while though, he'll go and do his own thing. Sometimes we'll find him snoozing in his favorite red and white cat bed. It looks very comfy! Other times he's off exploring the house or hanging out on his cat tree. He has many amenities. His pet parents treat him well! While we're still there, we'll check the level of the water fountains and clean out the litter boxes. Before we leave, we make sure to give him some more love. He enjoys that a lot! He's so gentle and kind and we can't wait to see him again!
