🐾Bora Bora🐾

Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Bora Bora! This little gal is part of a trio we've given the nickname "The ladies". They are all in their senior years and there isn't a sweeter, spunkier clan around. Although she is a mix of different breeds, Bora reminds us of a little lab who never really grew up (she's only 20 lbs). She's definitely a travel sized doggo. Her temperment is always relaxed and sweet but her big girl personality will come out if an unknown creature enters her yard without permission.

Bora is the smallest in "The ladies" group and lets her sisters, Lexi (black lab mix) and Stella (boxer mix), take the lead on walks. She's content to bring up the rear and check for any misses sniffing spots along the way. We visit this group a few times a week and take them for a 30 minute walk in the woods behind their house. Bora knows the pace she wants to go which at her age isn't going to break any speed walking records. That's ok with us though and we're happy to take things slower. When we return from the stroll, it's time for treats! Bora is always so patient and lets Lexi & Stella get their snacks first. We always make sure she gets her fair share and some extra pets to boot.

One other important note is that Bora has to be one of THE SOFTEST dogs we've ever met. It's like petting a little baby bunny! We enjoy our peaceful visits with Bora and her sisters, there's something so sweet about taking care of senior ladies who have so much love to give. We can't wait for our next visit!
