🐾Luna🐾

Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Luna! There is simply no better way to spend a day than hanging out with this fluffy ball of sunshine! Luna the husky is all about the joy in life and finds it in all things. . .we've honestly never seen this gal with any other emotion than extreme happiness. There is a long list of things Luna enjoys (go ahead and mark the box next to "everything") but some extra special favorites are belly rubs, being glued to the legs of her friends and being a sister to her big brother, Bandit the Border Collie.

We get to visit Luna & her brother Bandit whenever their family goes out of town. We usually spend most of the 30 minute home visit in the backyard playing with toys and giving Luna all the pets she requires. Luna is super soft so it's one of our favorite things to do! We also make sure both pups have enough food to enjoy. Bandit is a sweet guy, but he can get in grumpy moods at times. This absolutely does not phase Luna who will continue to be his friend and follow him 24/7. She does not have the best sense of personal space so it makes for an entertaining scene when Bandit simply wants to eat dinner and Luna is belly up next to the food dish right next to him.

We try and give Luna lots of playtime while we're there to get out some of her energy. She certianly has a lot of it! Some other ways she gets out her excitement is exploring under the deck and chasing the chickens that her family has in the yard (behind a fence of course). We love this lady and all the love she shares with everyone who she meets. She's a great lesson in finding joy in the little things and never letting a chance for a hug and belly rubs pass you by!
