Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Freddy! He is a gentle and kind kitty that we always look forward to spending time with. He is friendly and welcoming to every visitor he encounters. Sometimes he keeps his distance when a new person arrives, but it doesn't take long for him to come up to us, sniffing and wanting all the pets. Continue reading to learn more about this gentleman.

Freddy's pet parents like to choose our 30 Minute Home Visit when they go away on vacation. That means we have plenty of time to take care of Freddy's needs and still have a good bit of time to give him lots of love and attention, which we enjoy! Freddy also has a sister. She's a little black kitty named Winnie and we love her too! They both get along swimmingly, and they are so sweet to one another. When we first get there, we usually give them some hello pets and then we head into the kitchen to prepare their meals. Freddy gets a fresh and yummy can of wet food and we also check to make sure his automatic feeders are still full of dry food. Sometimes he eats while we're there, but other times he's not hungry until after we've left. Then after that, we clean out all of his litter boxes, so they're sparkly clean. Lastly, we make sure his water fountain has lots of water and then we water the plants outside for Freddy's parents.

After the work has been finished, we spend the rest of the visit hanging out with Freddy and his sister in the living room. They have a plethora of toys to choose from, but Freddy always seems to enjoy his color wand toy the most! He'll chase that thing and swat it down to catch it in his fluffy paws. He has so much fun with it and we love watching him enjoy himself. Occasionally we'll give him some treats, but he's usually more interested in his toys. Before we leave, we'll give him some extra pets and belly rubs, that'll make him purr away. We love this sweet boy and we're looking forward to spending time with him again!
