🐾Mabel🐾

Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Mabel! She is the silliest and sweetest little lady that we all adore here at Captain Flosse! Mabel loves chilling with us outside and inside her home. She always comes out of her crate with her back end wiggling out of excitement that she has a visitor, and her face almost seems like she’s smiling at us! She has such a kind and wholesome heart! Read on to learn more about this pretty girl.

While Mabel's pet parents are at their jobs, we come to give her a 45 Minute Home Visit. We have several members of the Captain Flosse crew that have the pleasure of seeing her on a weekly basis! She is such a calm lady and our visits with her are very relaxing and enjoyable. We usually give her a peanut butter and banana flavored treat right when she comes out of her crate, and she definitely looks forward to that! After that we head outside to take a little jaunt around her neighborhood. She has a doggo friend in her neighborhood that we see at some of our visits and Mabel and her friend get along great! They love inspecting each other's smells by sniffing each other all over and their tails will wag the whole time they're together! Sometimes she is in a walking mood and sometimes she isn't, so it varies on how long we walk her. If it's raining or very cold, we know our walk won't last long before she's looking up at us, asking if we can go back inside. ;)

Once we come back inside, she sits and waits for a few special peanut butter treats that we give her after walks. She looks at us with the most attentive puppy eyes while we grab the treat bag. The love she has for those treats is indescribable and it's so cute to watch! Soon after she eats her treats, we give her some pets and then she heads over to the couch for a snooze. It doesn't take her long to fall into a deep sleep. She has such a comfy couch, so it makes sense that it doesn't take much for her to close her eyes and start dreaming. When her pet parents go on vacation, we will also do Overnights with Mabel and she is a joy to spend the night with! Some of our evening duties for Mabel include feeding her dinner and taking her outside several times. She has an adorable headband that she wears so her cute and floppy ears don't fall into her food. We'll also give her lots of love and attention and playtime during our overnights. Miss Mabel is so full of positive and calming vibes, and we can't help but smile when we're around this goofy and absolutely delightful lady!
