🐾Mufasa🐾

Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Mufasa! Yes, he's named after The Lion King and his nickname is Mumu. How cute is that? This chonky one eyed kitty has all the classic traits of a silly orange tabby and we always get a chuckle when visiting him! Continue scrolling to learn more about this goofy guy!

We get the pleasure of seeing Mr. Mumu when his pet mom goes on trips. She usually schedules 15 to 20 Minute Stop-In Visits and his main caretaker is Lucia. He has great hearing and can usually hear us walking down the hallway to his apartment. We can always hear him meowing before we even get in the door, because he is so excited to have a visitor! He immediately starts crying for his meal, as though he hasn't been fed in ten years, lol! He carefully watches us prepare his wet food with chicken mixed in. He'll usually stand on his hind legs and get as close as possible to the counter. It's so funny! Once he gets his food, he quickly gobbles it down in his very fancy bowl. While he's eating, we clean out his litter box and make sure his water fountain is at a good level.

For the rest of the visit, he gets lots of playtime and love and attention. He loves to give hugs on his own and it is so sweet! He's such a soft kitty, so we look forward to those hugs. He also has a favorite rainbow wand toy that he adores! He likes to chase it and tackle it as much as he can, and it is very fun to watch! He has a blue tunnel as well that he'll run into and peek out of, to make sure we're still there. He really is a sweetheart, and we look forward to future visits with him!
