We get the pleasure of seeing Opie when his pet parents go on summer vacations. They usually schedule 30 Minute Home Visits. His main caretakers are Brittany, Suzi, Lucia and Emily. We can already hear his happy barks as soon as we pull in the driveway. He is well taken care of, and he has a whole downstairs mancave all to himself. It has a glass door, and we can see his head peek through the curtains as we walk down to the garage. Sometimes he gets walks, but usually he is just let out in the back on a long lead. After some greeting jumps, he heads into the yard and pees. Then he'll wander around the yard exploring any new smells he might have missed earlier or the day before

He also loves to roll in the grass and soak in as much sunshine as he can. He has some yard toys as well and he's always up for chasing a ball or two. After some yard time, we bring him back inside and we give him fresh water and dry food. He always gobbles up the food and gets a huge drink of water. Sometimes he has accidents, so we'll clean those up if we find any. After that we take him back in the yard for some love and attention. He really is a kind pup, and we always look forward to our summers with him!
