🐾Rosie🐾

Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Rosie! This little muffin is a 5 year old Mini Australian Shepherd styled with a reddish-brown coat with white floofy accents. If you come across her and her brother, their piercingly loud greetings and warnings would stop you in your tracks. Rosie might seem a bit of a sidekick at first, but when we walk past the wrong fence or van, she lets everyone know she's the protector too! Let's see what all the cuteness is about -- scroll for more little Rosie!

If you think Rosie looks familiar, you probably spotted her with doggo brother Murphy. Our crew has the pleasure of visiting the duo for our 30-Minute Walks a few times each week to provide time to potty and exercise, breaking up the day when their owner's at work. Of course we balance things out with a little playtime and belly rubs, and we never forget to dole out treats! Crew members Kathy, Laura, and Jessie are most familiar with pet siblings Rosie and Murphy.

Miss Rosie is a little less enthusiastic to get out walking, but she'll follow Murphy and they'll take turns marking over each other throughout the neighborhood. Rosie's good nature makes the walk easy - right up until she senses a threat. This girl remembers everything, and takes it to heart to protect her bigger brother from untrustworthy sources like delivery people and certain dogs. Yes, that protection is a high-pitched yip letting everyone know the cavalry has arrived!

Bite-sized Rosie has some adorable quirks. While she absolutely barks to sound all the alarms, there are times when she echoes the distress without knowing what she's really barking at! Rosie loves drinking her water, and she'll take it from any source around. The crew guides her towards a clean and refreshing bowl just inside her home.

While Miss Rosie adores having her belly rubbed, brother Murphy doesn't like how vulnerable she looks and will sound his alarm asking us to back off. She also loves chewing (and hiding) bones, sometimes stealing her brother's bone too! Rosie has stolen our hearts (and some of our hearing range) and we are always happy to leash her up for another adventure!
