Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Sawyer! Sawyer is a German Shepherd who might be the most well-behaved gentleman we've ever met. He loves going for long walks and exploring around his neighborhood. He has a quiet and gentle spirit and simply wants to be a good boy, which he certainly is. Also how about that handsome fur coat? We see Sawyer a couple times a week and he enjoys our 1 Hour Dog Walk. It's a lot of fun to explore all around his neighborhood and watch him take in the scenery. At first he's excited to get going but it doesn't take too long for him to settle into a steady pace. There can be lots of excitement and distractions along the way but nothing seems to phase him. He retains his polite and gentle manners at all times. He's prepared for all kinds of weather with his jackets, and he doesn't mind walking in the rain unless there is too much scary wind. Staff members Suzi and Laura say he gets complimented all the time for how handsome and sweet he is.

It's always a great day when we get to spend time with this sweetheart. He loves his "mom" very much and was anxious at first when she wasn't home. But now that he knows there is a fun walk in his future while she's away, he's glad to see us and get moving. He is definitely a guy who does well with lots of exercise, and we're ready and willing to get some steps with him to help put his energy towards exploring the outdoors. We're so happy to be part of this good boy's life and can't wait for our next walk!
