🐾Simon & Garfunkel🐾

Let's hear it for our Pets of the Week, Simon & Garfunkel! Don't they look like they could be an album cover? These two boys are tabby cat brother and although they look alike, their personalities couldn't be more different! We love visiting these two when their family goes away. Simon is always front and center and ready for attention and play. Garfunkel (or Funky, as we like to call him) is a bit more reserved and likes to watch from the background at first until he's ready to jump in and join in with Simon.

Upon entering their home, Simon will be right by the door talking and purring away. The first order of business is giving him some pets and love. Funky typically hangs back for awhile and likes to be the observer. They can be a little hard to tell apart at first except that lil Funky rocks a tail nub while Simon has a long striped tail. Our Pet Care Specialists Suzi and Laura hang out with them once a day during our 30 Min Pet Home Visit. They make sure there is always fresh food and water and that they both have a tidy place to do their business. It's sweet to watch Funky slowly warm up, and usually by the end of the visit he's soaking in the love just like Simon.

Simon is a big fan of playing with their feather toy, and Funky likes to join in, too! It's a lot of fun watching the jungle cat in Simon come out and take down the feathery foe. We love taking care of these brothers who are perfectly different but love each other all the same. We'll stay posted in case they ever take up performing or start a band. What a fun concert that would be!
